Permissions & Usage

To provide a professional audio experience, the app requires the following permissions:

READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / READ_MEDIA_AUDIO: Required to scan, index, and play the music files stored on your device.
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Required for features like the Tag Editor and downloading album art (if enabled).
BLUETOOTH_CONNECT: Required to manage playback through Bluetooth headphones and car audio systems.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Required to show playback controls in your device notification tray.
WAKE_LOCK: Prevents the audio engine from being killed by the system when the screen is off.

Third-Party Services

We use a limited number of trusted third-party components to enhance your experience:

Media3 / ExoPlayer: Used for the core audio playback engine.
Last.fm (Optional): If you manually enable Scrobbling, your listening data is sent to Last.fm according to their privacy policy.
Google Play Billing: Handles secure transactions for the Pro version. We do not see or store your credit card information.

Data Security

Since your data is stored locally, its security depends on the security of your device. We recommend keeping your Android OS updated and using device encryption.
